Gay Salvador

Salvador is the largest city in Bahia. It's home to buzzing nightlife and a long stretch of lush tropical coastline. The gay scene is pretty lively - especially the gay club scene. Pelourinho is the most stylish and safest neighbourhood to stay in. Wandering around alone after dark is ill-advised. Best to get a taxi from your hotel to wherever you're going! Salvador is home to many churches and colourful colonial architecture.
