Playa Es Cavallet, Ibiza, Spain
Officially a nudist beach, this sandy Playa Es Cavallet beach gets busy around noon, with a party atmosphere kicking in from around 4pm in front of the restaurant.
Plenty of sun loungers and shades are available to rent, and an 'at seat' drinks and snacks service is provided by Chiringay. Immediately behind the beach are bushy dunes that are popular cruising spots in their own right.
There are two ways to get to Es Cavallet: Drive. car parking can be a problem in high season, so don't arrive too late. Or take a bus from Ibiza Town. Previously, it was possible to take the boat from Figueretas Beach, but this service is no longer available.
Peak season is July and August. However, June, September and early October are great months to visit, with plenty of sunshine and a much more relaxed and chilled-out vibe, and the beach still attracts hundreds of gay sunbathers.

Playa Es Cavallet
My partner and I been going to Cavallet beach almost every year for the past decade. Its definitely our favorite gay beach experience in the Med - perhaps even better in recent years as its not quite so packed as it was in the past.
The beach is not as easy to get to (compared with the gay area in, say Sitges or Barcelona). You really need a scooter or hire car, and as it says above, if you arrive too late (say after 2pm) you could find parking a bit of a challenge. But the beach itself is really very nice and having a lazy lunch at (the not cheap) Chiringay is almost a gay ritual. Don't sit too close to the restaurant if you aren't the type who likes a few funky beats as the end of the day approaches.
Finally, of course, there are the dunes. Always worth exploring!
