I found this sauna to be one of my new favorites. The staff was friendly and yes, if you want to drink, you need to buy tickets at the front and make sure you remember giving them to the bartender as at first the bartender said I didn’t give him a ticket. Not sure if it is a catch to make sure you are sober enough to order? The bar was well stocked and bartenders were friendly. There are numerous cabins that are unassigned. You can enter into any that are vacant..and they have plenty. They lock from the inside too for privacy. The cabins are larger than most bathouses in the US. You must wear slippers that they give you and you can smoke at the bar. I did see guys using poppers. I only saw 1 really big guy but he looked like he wasn’t having fun. I would say the majority of the Sunday night crowd were 25-45. There were well kept older gentlemen as well. About my experience: I went on a Sunday night at 3 am and it was packed. There are no douche stations so I brought an empty Fleet bottle and filled it with water. I am 48 years old but I look 40 and considered handsome and in shape. I took 4 years of Spanish in high school and it was enough to carry on multiple conversations. The locals understood English too. I hooked up with a young Spaniard/Morrocan and also a guy from Poland. It was so good, we had multplie sessions and rested at the bar in between. I can’t wait to go back. They were still going strong at noon when I left on Moday!

I have travelled a lot and been to quite a few saunas but BY FAR this is the worst, filthy, outdated and no nice men, forget the entry fee, they could make more if the charged people to get out! We stayed 7 minutes and 23 seconds, just time to undress do one circuit and dress again.

Para mi Sauna Center, es una de las mejores saunas en las que he estado. Tiene sus días donde hay poca gente. Pero los fines de semana a tope. Si quiere ligar y pasar buenos ratos, este es el lugar ideal.

It may be one of the biggest in Europe, but it is one of the worst. If you want to walk 20 miles for action this is the place - full of attitude and everyone stoned. The staff are impolite. Given the choice of others saunas in Madrid, this is a place to avoid.

My first and last visit to Sauna Center Madrid, and I want to warn travelers. I've been to many different saunas aroud the world and Sauna Center Madrid is the most wretched. Half the toilets out of order, the spa was out of order, the grubby little rooms were hideous, the attitude of the arrogant barman was just awful. He looked down on travelers and made it clear we were not welcome. The air quality was just unbearable. We lasted 2 hours and had to leave as we couldn't breath due to the thick cigarette smoke. Sauna Center Madrid was the most unfriendly, horrid experience ever. We watch travelers arrive, have a drink and walk out in the two hours we were there. Don't waste your time or money as Sauna Center Madrid don't deserve you or your money.

I and my friend went here on Friday night. In the reception, the guy is quite impatient because we were speaking in English and a little Spanish. We went inside and it isn't now well maintained. A shower isn't working well. Some private rooms were not very clean. In the bar we wanted to buy drinks but we didn't know that we need to pay first in the reception. We ended up waiting and waiting but the day didn't come up from his post so we decided to just go home. The bar seems nice though and the bar tenders were nice and accommodating.
