Been to quite a few saunas in the the past with varying results but this is one of the good ones. A good mix of (friendly) guys leaving lots of options open.......... Plenty of condoms and lube freely available too. I will be back!

Been a few times now. Great atmosphere, always a nice crowd. Good mix. Great facilities and fantastic jacuzzi - though only on for a limited time every hour. Clean, big and lots if areas to explore. Great glory holes and dark cruising areas, plenty of places to hookup if that's east you want to do. Great bar - even sells cool toys for a bit of after fun. There's smoking area another good are to meet and chat to guys - even provide dressing gowns! Lots of condoms and lube available and the staff could not be friendlier. A great place to unwind, have fun and let off steam with similar minded guys.

I am a TV and I’ve never felt more comfortable at any venue as the Boileroom. I understand that I am limited to the days I can attend as it wouldn’t be fair for me to be dressed on the Naked days. However, I’m very pleased to have been accepted on the Towel days. It’s brilliant, as are the staff and the clients. Five stars all round. Whilever I'm allowed, I will support this venue.

This sauna is exactly what you need in Sheffield, clean, nice atmosphere, a few too many naked days (but maybe is just me as I am not a fan of that ) other than that I love it!

Been coming here for around 18 months the place has been transformed, new in-floor jacuzzi, cruisy sauna and hot/dark steam, power showers & very friendly staff. In fact there is a very nice atmosphere all round plenty of places nearby to park. Free hot drinks, great massage good food/extras. Anymore well see their webpage....

Been going since new ownership, very clean, good facilities, nice people, sadly not too busy at times. Prices are a bit too high though.

Not bin 2 this type of sauna b4. Was so happy I went. The staff showed me around & were great. The atmosphere was great & patrons were very friendly as I was nervous being a newby. I could do as much or as I little as I wanted. I had "a lot of fun". Definitely would recommend. I will b going as often I can!

Saturday "naked day". Friendly helpful staff, hot tub, showers and sauna new, great lighting effects. A busy afternoon but everyone friendly and helpful as venue has a confusing layout with some dimly lit areas! Sauna has two parts, fairly light and fairly dark - a great idea. Everyone seems to follow the house rules on etiquette. One guy wanted to play and gently touched my hand - I responded and intimate play was on! No hassle, no pressure. Great fun. Can't wait to go again!

Confusing reception & refreshments policy: for food, some tab, others on order? Checked in, cruising area up stairs, at the top of the stairs you turn either left or right, and cruise in a square area. In other words, walk around a set of 'cruising' areas - in a square. Been 3 times, 1 to see what it was like 2nd n 3rd to see if it was better. Answer - no, would I go again? Think not!

£1, £5, £8, £10, £14 The pricing policy at this sauna is ridiculous. It should be one flat rate of £10 at any time. It is a small gay sauna, with limited facilities and limited numbers of patrons, so anymore than a tenner is a complete rip off. The so called "party" nights are now no different to any other times here, you can wear what you want and do what you want, so how this differs from other times is beyond me, because patrons are encouraged to wear what they want and do what they want at all other times. Do us all a favour Mr Owner, reduce your prices and stop pretending party nights are any different to any other opening hours here!

Been when was Bronx and been a couple of times since refurb and it's looking great, jacuzzi much better..it just needs more private rooms. But great place to meet other guys.

Visited for first time last week and loved it, though I never got showed around even though I said it was my first time so felt uneasy for a while. Never been to anything like this but it was not long before I was being paid attention to, even though I am 63. Plenty of lube and condoms about too so safe sex is not a problem. Sauna OK and Jacuzzi alright but small. A nice lounge to relax in and felt really comfortable on the Saturday 'naked day', spending over 4 hours there. Get there early for a better deal. Will definitely be going back when I can 'slip away' for half a day.

Recommend the Friday theme night. Got there 10pm and had a great time. Like what's been done to the place, much better. Good mix. Definitely go again

Been several times on different days now. It keeps getting better. Always get a friendly welcome. Good range of ages and body types. Good to get there when it opens and things are fresh. Naked days on Tuesdays and Saturdays are fun, especially watching the newbies trying to cover themselves with a hand towel! Glory holes OK, rooms for privacy (except for the special cruising events). What's not to like?

First time tonight at cumunion, Sheffield, loads of guys there, the younger seem to leave it while later to attend. I used to visit when it was the Bronx, which was ok I guess, but now lots lots better, and seems to be work still ongoing. All in all a good night, however both my friend that I took and myself DO NOT like the idea of there been nowhere private AT ALL. This is NOT posted on the web site, all cubicle doors are padlocked open. I for one do not like the idea of lots of guys watching. I'm no spring chicken at 53yrs old, but some of these guys made me feel young. Sorry but a proper turn off to me, wont be attending again on these nights, just not my cup of tea, and speaking to others there its not theirs either. A lot of guys like PRIVACY when been intimate. Ok little rant over. Out of 10 I would give it a 7.5. All in all it was a interesting night but my advice to anyone is don't even bother to go until around 10pm and understand that work is still in progress. Best of luck keep up the good work ;)

I have been several times since new ownership. Much improved, very friendly people at the reception, fun times on naked days (Saturday, Tuesday) party night on the first Friday of the month is very interesting ! Just one comment , it's not very warm in any room, even the sauna is rather cool. Like the place though .

I have to say this is great sauna for gay and bisexual men ... I used to visit this place when it was the Bronx when it was run by Alan and Simon until August 2015 ... There's now some great improvements especially in the lounge and coffee area near the reception....There's still some of the old facilities left over from the Bronx but they are making considerable improvements with the refurbishments ... they are currently working on the new jacuzzi which will be a whole lot better ... It should be completed in the next month or so ... very friendly staff and a nice mixture of guys of all ages now coming into use the sauna and wanting to be adventurous .... I always leave there with a smile on my face knowing I've had a great gay time !!

First time visitor. The place is under renovation and under new management. I'm told its owned by the same people as the Boiler room in Brighton and will become the same high standard as there. At present, it's pretty run-down in the old areas but will ultimately be a great venue once completed. A decent number of guys there, had some fun and would return again next time I'm in town. Great friendly staff too.
