The showers have been cold for more than 2 years. The management knows about it and repeatedly DOES NOTHING TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. The staff treat customers like s***, and nothing that a customer says is taken into consideration. Plus it has had a fire and the alarms usually are ringing loudly and when that happens the staff acts like nothing is happening. There are no hair dryers or mirrors to dry our hair when we come out to the street. Bad choice under all respects.

I was several times there and had always a really nice time. Mixed people; lots of action by beginning 20ies till don't know; you'll sure find a beautiful boy, who was it really worth to go there. I really like the place. You'll find exactly that, what you expect from a gay sauna.

I was here a few weeks ago (Mid-August 2018--Tuesday night and Saturday night) and it was nice. A bit small. A bit too dark. Saturday there were lots of guys when we arrived, but they seemed to clear out around 9:00 on Saturday. But there were a lot of younger guys, not too many old creepy guys. Good mix. I like to get a little bit of a look at the guys, but most of the areas were pretty dark (maybe I am just old). I would definitely go again. I've several saunas around the world and this was in the nicer category.

Very loud techno music. The labyrinth smells bad. Many guys where speeding through the place and when I decided to leave after 20 min was when I saw a guy throwing up

Travel the world for a living and this is a top notch gay sauna. Mixed age group with many horny guys of all ages. Staff were all polite and cleaning staff worked hard to maintain high standards. Good that it has a food and alcohol offering. Discrete entry in a safe area. No sign of drugs or any hassle from money boys. Loved it ❤️

I couldn't stay as the DJ operated music was nauseating, certainly not in a sauna setting I've ever experienced. One couldn't relax and enjoy what a sauna has to offer. The smoking environment also didn't help. Chewing gum marks everywhere on the floor. It's a party venue not a gay sauna one used to.

Do not get a “massage” there, it’s a complete and utter rip-off. They were probably short on staff and I think they sent the guy in charge of doing dishes... This was probably the longest 30 minutes of my life, I couldn’t wait for it to be over. Avoid at all costs.

My experience has been very nice. Several times. Both staff, and visitors. Lots of good watching. And I like to perform exhibitionist JO in the back dark room. It’s a towel place in the main rooms when I have been there.

Most boring massage I ever had in my life! The massage therapist basically just rubbing oil on my body, no pressure what so ever. Wasted my 60 Euro.

Generally speaking this place is not bad. Yes there are some corridors and corners which are extremely dark, yes parts of the labyrinth are not well lit but sufficient to recognize what's happening and a lot of things happen there. The social area is a bit awkward with that giant projection of porn. I found this place clean and they give slippers so you don't walk on "things". The only downsize is the lack of prevention. You have to ask, at the bar, for condoms and there's no lube dispensers in the cabins.

Even with my good night vision, this establishment is universally dark apart from the lounge and cabin areas. The hundreds of blobs of discarded chewing gum on the floor lends a grungy atmosphere. The lounge area is full of cigarette smoke and loud music. A large screen shows mostly porn. The steam room is basic, seemed cool and not very steamy. The spa pool had problems with the bubble system. Some of the staff were seen copping off with customers. Room for improvement.

The place is well structured with several different areas. The cabin area is almost not considered. Most the fun happens in the labyrint; usually people start doing things here and then go to the cabins. Staff are good and the place is clean. The only problem is the light. It's dark everywhere and the labyrinth has almost no lights. You cant recognize the person you are having fun with. I don't see the reason for having the lights so low, you can barely figure your way out.

Visited on Sunday arvo 16Jul. As soon as we entered we were hit with loud techno music and found loads of younger party-type guys hanging around the bar and lockers and thought 'this is going to be a disaster'. However, things were not as they seemed! There was a very good mix of guys - shapes and ages - and they (including the leftover party crowd) were all very interactive. Good clean facilities. Steam room is quite small but good for some action, but the labyrinth is where the majority took place. Would definitely recommend and would come again.

    Trombeta Bath

I went to Trombeta twice in mid December 2016 as i was visiting Lisbon on a business trip from UK. I was there on Friday and Saturday nights, the place was full of good looking and healthy men between 25-40 years age on both days. I had great fun, because the place was very busy with Portuguese people and tourists (i had fun with a French guy and a couple from Israel). Most of the young men go there for fun after getting a bit drunk (and loose) in nearby bars. The sauna is clean, the barmen was nice - i got fresh juice and also some Vodka shots. Drinks are reasonably priced. I will definitely recommend a visit to this place. Fun is assured and trust me - you won't be disappointed if you go on a weekend night!! Price is EUR 14 per visit, and you pay EUR 5 only if you re-visit within 6 hours after you leave the sauna.

Visited here on a late Sunday afternoon ( not the best choice... ). Although it was very busy, it's was just a continuation of the previous nights party goers. Many drunk or " high " guys still partying, drinking, smoking. The place was messy, dirty and not fun! A lot of Divas and bad attitudes. A big disappointment, despite this... I had an awesome time in everything else the Lisbon has to offer... Hence my twice a year vacation here for the past 15 yrs...

    Trombeta Bath

I went to Trombeta yesterday, 7 months after my last visit, and i was pleasantly surprised. The sauna is no more "twinktown", there were guys of every age and shape, bears, daddies, hunks, twinks, etc, with no excess of either type. Many of them visiting foreigners (that are always most welcome in Portugal!). The sauna looked overall cleaner, the jacuzzi was fine, not too hot and not too cold, the cabins were clean (i saw sauna's staff cleaning them throughout the afternoon). The staff was ok, but it wouldn't hurt if they smiled a bit more. I asked for an extra large towel and i wasn't charged for it. I don't know if they changed their 1€-per-extra-towel policy, if the guy forgot or if he just couldn't be bothered. My only complain is that the dark labyrinth is way too dark, i understand the need for darkness, but i could barely tell apart the walls or the floor, even after being my eyes got used to the general low light of the sauna. I will probably return there next month :)

I went there on a Wednesday afternoon, mainly because it was raining hard, so I decided to give this place a visit. It wasn't packed but still enough guys to choose from, from youngsters to more elderly ones. The cabins and glory hole area next to the bar wasn't busy and there wasn't barely any cruising, sadly as that's where the sling is. The darkroom is where all the action seems to be, it's a dark labyrinth with cabins with gloryholes and a few public mattresses. I found the place in general good condition and relatively clean.

14€ to get in and you only get one small towel, if you are slightly larger than average, you need to pay extra 1€ for a bigger towel/or an extra towel. The toilet could be in better condition, but the rest of the sauna looks ok/good. I went there on a Saturday and the staff only started cleaning the private cabins around 3pm (it's open all day/night in the weekend). I went in a supposed "bear" day, but there only 3 or 4 bears all day and they were all foreign (they probably saw the add for bear day in the bar that promotes it), it seems local bears/mature men prefer Sauna Viriato (I always get many when I go there). The sauna is frequented mostly by young guys that like young guys, and old men that like young guys. There is a bar, a coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine and a vending machine with food. The worse of the sauna was the staff. Whenever I was playing with some dude in a cabin with the door closed but not locked (cabins in the "dark room" area), guys from the STAFF would open the door and stand there watching us. We left the door unlocked for other guys to possibly join us, not to give free shows to the staff! I did like the "dark room", big, kinda of a maze, has cabins and glory holes and it's not total darkness like other places, there is enough light to see faces/body.

Sauna is good , clean. One think what is wrong is the STEAM BATH extremly hot. None almos was there noone could stay long inside, it should be about 70°C and you make it for sure 120°C. Even with less temperature you cansafe electricity and money! Instate of that Jakuzzi more stronger vibrant boubles like a voulcan.

Rather delapedated showers and toilets are shabby the cabins are dank and not serviced. The jacuzzi is the only thing that functions well. Mostly a middle aged clientele and not ever many guys. I was surprised at the state of the place in such a large city.

Couldn't disagree more with previous negative reviews. Having been their last night (Saturday) my partner and I are glad to have taken the chance in spite of your and other negative reviews. Everything was in pristine condition and working order. The facilities were very clean and the cabins well serviced. The place was packed from when we arrived at around 7pm with a varied mix of guys from twinks to muscle bears. We had a great time and will return when next in Lisbon.

It is nice and located nearly centre of the city. Sauna itself has jacuzzi, bar, darkroom, cinema, sauna, Turkish bath, douches, cabines. Best to go on Friday or Saturday nights. If you are not to picky you'll have hot and enjoyable moments.
