    Benidorm is renowned for its excellent Blue Flag beaches, with miles of sand and clear blue waters.

    The most famous beaches are Levante, Poniente and Mal Pas, but a few lesser-known coves are also worth a visit.


    Given Benidorm's large gay community, Levante, Poniente and Mal Pas attract a good number of gay sunbathers all year around, but are not "gay beaches" in the same sense as, for example Playa de la Bossa in Sitges. The "gayest" local beach is Raco del Conill.
