Mar Bella Beach
The most gay-popular beach in Barcelona. Mar Bella is officially a nudist beach where many guys keep their tackle undercover as those who let it all hang out. If the beach is your priority, consider this area.
From Mar Bella, it takes 3-6 metro stops (L4) to Barcelona city centre and about 20-30 minutes to the Eixample gay village. If you stay out very late, you will need to take a taxi back.
Hotels in this area are also close to the excellent El Poblenou walking street which is full of very good cafés and restaurants - generally a much better value that in the centre.
