        Founded in 1998, Gay Bombay is a self-evolving support group that aims to create a safe space for gay men, families and friends in Mumbai.

        Over the years, GB has organised hundreds of LGBT events including dance parties, beach picnics, film festivals, parents' meeting, trekking, cooking, speed-dating brunches, special gatherings on topics such as HIV/AIDS, relationships, finances and more.

        Now particularly well-known as the organisers of regular gay party nights Mumbai - check GB's website or Facebook page for agenda.

            Mumbai Pride was scheduled to take place Jan/Feb 2021. The event was cancelled due to coronavirus.

            Queer Azaadi Mumbai (QAM) is an annual gay Pride celebration (the largest in India) with colourful parade, taking place at the August Kranti Maidan to walk to Kennedy Bridge.

            Started in 2008 and now in its 10th year, QAM continues to fight for equal rights for the LGBT community. Queer Azaadi takes place around February-March, with has an estimated 7,000 participants each year.
