Since 2014 R House has been serving the community of Wynwood with unmissable community events and a thoroughly inclusive atmosphere. In recent years, the venue has made waves as one of the country’s most respected and popular drag brunch spots, thanks to a partnership between a number of top drag queens and stage talent.

Drag brunches, Friday dinner parties, and daily happy hours can all be enjoyed within the vibrant walls of R House.

Low-key, casual, and effortlessly cool, Gramps is the perfect respite from the exuberance of Miami and the ideal spot to enjoy a carefully crafted cocktail. Featuring live bands, DJs, and drag bingo, Gramps is a bar that has it all, and you’ll encounter a mixed crowd of local and visiting patrons regardless of when you visit.

This bar is a Wynwood Institution and is located close to many of the district’s other top nightlife venues. Wynwood is a creative arts neighborhood and home to a vibrant concentration of the city’s LGBTQ+ population.

When Nathan Smith began formulating the idea for the eponymous Nathan’s Bar over 20 years ago, he had little idea of the huge success that his nightclub would find. Today, the bar is one of Miami’s most popular, and a hub of consistently lively LGBTQ+ revelry. Featuring performances from local and international drag talent, the bar is a must-visit for any gay traveller in Miami seeking live shows.

The bar is incredibly inclusive and visitors will find a welcoming atmosphere that is diverse as it is raucous.

 

Jamboree Lounge is a gay dive bar in Miami in the MiMo area. It's pretty cheap and laidback. There are regular drag shows. It can also get a bit cruisey as the night progresses.

It's hailed as Miami's longest-running cruise bar.

Kill Your Idol is located in Miami South Beach and is as cool as it gets. This venue hosts regular drag shows (bingo, karaoke, trivia), live music and DJ nights. Expect a mixed crowd (straight/LGBT+) and a very special ambiance. Locals and travelers love the inside decor which gives this bar a New York City feel.

 

The Corner is a small bar just across the street from some of Miami's biggest strip joints. Every third Sunday of the month, The Corner turns into Counter Corner, an experimental drag show. Hosting queens range from novice to legendary.

Creative drinks in a hotel space with games, lounge & high-top seating & eclectic interior details. Happy hour is on daily from 5 pm - 7 pm. The self-proclaimed gayest bar in Miami is located within Hotel Gaythering, and has special events on most nights.

Not exactly an LGBTQ+ exclusive venue, Blackbird Ordinary is popular with women who love women, especially on a Tuesday night. Lesbians who used to go to Purdy Lounge are now hanging out at this stylish cocktail bar.

DJ's provide the music on most nights, local funk and reggae bands set the scene on others. Show off your moves on the dancefloor.
