Tokyo Gay Clubs

One of Shinjuku's larger gay clubs with two dance floors. AiSOTOPE Lounge hosts regular events and themed parties including men-only nights with dark room and cruising.

Drinks are quite strong - not that we're complaining. Check the website for current schedule.

VITA hosts some of Tokyo's most popular and largest gay dance parties (about 6 times a year) including occasional pool parties, with top international DJ's, dancers and shows.

The VITA party takes place at various venues (usually in Shibuya area) - check their Facebook page for details of upcoming events.

Monthly gay dance party, run by the Managing Director of ageHa. This men-only underwear-themed event 雄汁男魂集会 (osujiru-dankon shukai) features DJ, go-go dancers, dark room.

HUNKS Underwear Party takes place at Boiler Room in Shinjuku. Admission includes one drink. Discounts for gym members and young guys.

Long-running, popular dance club Arty Farty has a large bar, dance floor and fun crowd. The Staff speak Japanese, but the menu is foreigner-friendly.

Packed on weekends, The club hosts special events on occasions. Drinks are reasonably priced, and you can get your hand stamped for free entry to The Annex.

Popular, late-night gay dance club in Shinjuku. The Annex has a long bar and a dimly-lit cruising area in the back. DJ spins upbeat tunes that attract a good mix of crowd.

Run by the same owners of Arty Farty, so you pay once and have access to both clubs.

Bi-monthly hard house party for the 'BUFF' guys and their admirers. Popular with BUFF guys, from beefy to stocky, cubs and bears.

Fetish/casual attire encouraged. The party takes place in the heart of Tokyo's gay district, Shinjuku Ni-chome, at EAGLE Tokyo Blue.

Waifu is an LGBT+ inclusive party run by women but it's open to all. The Tokyo gay scene can be quite segregated. Waifu is an attempt to make it more open. Check their Facebook for more info about upcoming events.
