Some queens can't be positive and how better to be negative than to describe a sauna as "dirty?". How can a poor business owner defend himself against this? Given the diametrically opposed reviews, I had trouble deciding whether to go or not. In the end I decided to go and make up my own mind. I'm glad I did. Let's clear a couple of things up. Firstly, I was impressed by how clean Thermas is, particularly compared to Spanish saunas I've visited. The design is perhaps a bit conservative, but it's spacious, well ventilated and light levels are good. The facilities are very good. The gentleman on the door asked me if I had been before and was quick to point out that you're either a rent boy or a client. The rent boys are from everywhere, Panama, Venezuela, Egypt, Brazil etc; etc. Mostly they are very attractive and charming. As you would find anywhere, there are probably a couple you'd chose to stay away from but by and large the atmosphere is hot and sexy. I met an incredibly handsome Brazilian who for €50 was happy to give a relaxed, full service. He was gorgeous and charming enough to introduce to your mother. Sauna Thermas is possibly unique in bringing rent boys and clients together. It does so in a safe, clean and welcoming environment and in so doing provides a much needed service. No, it's not for everyone, but it worked me me. Highly recommended.

This place was amazing- 50€ and the quality of men was absolutley amazing. So many hotties and something for everyone. Tops, bottoms and versatile. Most of them are very sweet. If you visit meet with guys named Ahmed, Dani and Fabio! They are quality and very sweet!

I recently had a few weeks in Barcelona (July 2017) and visited Thermas sauna - clean venue, helpful staff and great guys. That said it was not perfect but I am old enough to have realistic expectations. I am a mature white man and the guys there were always respectful and provided a great service - one negative experience ( muscled Brazilian guy wanted extra money after the event) - the other men fantastic - exceptional guy Marcos beautiful smile beautiful body. I was lucky enough to have more than one session with him. When I was leaving each day the staff ordered me a taxi and made sure it arrived and I was safe leaving the venue. One small complaint the guys smoke cigarettes on the man private room level and often it would become very smoky. Cafe and bar good service reasonable prices, clean spa, jacuzzi, sauna rooms and the private rooms were regularly cleaned. I will be back.

When I paid my admission the clerk asked if I knew what kind of place this was. I said yes. But what I didn't expect was to be harassed by one of the rent boys. I've visited Thermas whenever I was in Barcelona over the last few years. I've always found the staff to be "friendly enough" and the place to be "clean enough". And I've felt totally safe. The selection of rentboys has been big and pretty amazing! I think afternoon and early evening has more selection than later. Some guys are more pushy than others but all have been as friendly and respectfull to me as I have been to them - also when I have said no thanks - and perhaps explained what type of guy I was after. A few times, I've tipped a pushy guy 20 or 30 EUR to keep me company until the hunk of my dreams turned up - and that has worked pretty well! Every single cabin experience has not been total heaven - but a few have actually given super pleasurable moments to remember and feed on for many years! I'm sure most of the rentboys are straight but many of them have made a huge effort to please... which I normally tip with an extra 20 on top of the 50 I always agree up front. The entrence fee (16 or 17 EUR is resonable when you consider that use of the cabins are free and the drinks are cheap - also when you buy one for a new "friend". Thumbs (and more) up for Thermas :-)

Thermos is just great. You always find a choice of guys and yes, many are from Eastern Europe or South America, but they are nice, young and available. I don't like to trawl the internet when I can meet the guys in person, and only have to pay €50. The Finnish sauna and the Turkish room are both pretty good. There is a bar and you can get simple food, but I am not there to have dinner! If you want to have some fun for a good price, then visit here.

Well this place is a rentboy place but the guys are just ordinary men in their twenties-thirties, they were neither tall nor muscular just ordinary guys,only one of them was a bit athletic. I went there in April around 23 o'clock at Saturday night,there were around 6-7 rentboys and two transvestites. Sauna Thermas is getting worse day by day. Everyone there want money. The staff are impolite, the venue is dirty and needs a renovation. The entire place is like a dark room with used condoms and napkins on the floor. Unbelievable that a place of such price-level don’t want to do something for the comfort of their guests. Some towels are ripped but not replaced. The soap-dispensers broken. As for their restaurant, they have no menu, you have to select one of 5-6 items on display, fortunately not expensive. But their bars are overpriced, and you can wait the staff for a long time. Definitely I will never come back here again.

One escort was very pushy. I agreed to spend time with him. But his negativity was such that his company was very depressing; it cast a pall over my visit to Barcelona.

Visited for the first time today, and it was great. Went as a couple and there were probably 20-30 'guys' available to spend time with. All were hot, clean, and polite. They weren't pushy and it was easy to spend time with those guys we wanted to. It was generally 50 euros per guy (a little more as there were 2 of us). Good mix of guys for all tastes. It was very clean, and felt very safe and secure. There was a faint smell of smoking and pot, but no where near as bad as some of these reviews suggest. Front desk were helpful too. The 2 guys we hooked up with were both 'generous' in their time and were both passionate and enthusiastic, despite almost certainly being straight. As first timers to this kind of place we found it a great experience and we will definitely be back.

The rent guys are offering a much needed service, and they should be praised and respected. Would you do that? They need to earn. Generally they are decent honest people. Horrible place! Not saying that sauna itself bad, no, it is okay. Here I am talking about the escort service. It was Friday night, when I got in, the staff did told me this is the escort. OK, that's fine. There were only 3 rent-guy there, they all from Romania. I did made a deal with a guy. Once in the room, he double the price, I refused, so he said it over than. He was so nasty. This afternoon I was for the first time in Thermas, knowing well what was expecting me. At the entry they told me that Thermas is an escort sauna. So nobody has to say here that he was surprised. I was there for about two hours. There were about 25 guys and nearly the same number of clients. The guys are about 60% Latinos, 20% from Africa, 20% from Eastern Europe. Some of them pretty, some of them average, like in real life. They asked if I am interested, accepted also a "No". After cruising half an hour I accepted an offer of a Brazil guy. Not really the hottest body but with a tremendous package. One hour for 50 Euro, the standard price here. After a nice massage and a great session we finished already at half an hour. But it was ok. So Thermas was worth a visit. When you are not too shy to play with escort guys, you will find there all you wish. The atmosphere is ok. Disturbing is only the smoke and the weed in certain corners. But for real sauna sessions you will have to go elsewhere.

As a regular visitor when in BCN, I can say that its my favorite place in town. You know what you are going for, and you get what you want. Commercial? yes. Good, easy fun? Yes. You could say its a bit like the difference between private or public health care. Pay to get what you want, when you want it, with the "consultant" of your choice. I came at May 7th 2014 at 20.00. Many rent boys. I had a bad experience with one from Bulgaria (he said his name is Alex). After negotiation with the price, we went to room, and after 5 minutes he ask me double with anger. We don't finish yet but I gave him the money and he try to embarrassed me. Last year I had the same bad experience. But not all the guys are like that. Have some very nice and polite and honest guys too. So I have good and bad experience, Tips: negotiate clearly at the beginning and look for guy with a good manner.

I got exactly what I wanted and I purchased room for 10Euro/clean,TV n super. All worked out well, great value, clean updated club & no pressure.
