Launched in 2003, Taiwan LGBT Pride is a non-profit organisation (NGO) funded by Taiwan LGBT NGO’s and gender groups. Their mission is to organise LGBT Pride for the local community.

Later, their official English name was changed to "Taiwan LGBT Pride Community. This annual event has become the largest gay Pride in Asia.

Taiwan Pride 2021 is scheduled to to take place in October in central Taipei. Check out Taiwan Pride's exclusive photos from previous years.

In 2014, TIQFF launched the first-ever queer film festival in Taiwan. The event took place in Taipei and Kaohsiung, showcasing LGBT-themed movies from around the world, including documentaries, short movies as well as production workshops.

Opened in April 2012, GisneyLand 紅樓部屋 is a drop-in centre that provides information for the LGBT community in Taipei.

Located at The Red House, the centre has a library, internet station and instant HIV/syphilis testing (but not for foreign travelers). Closed on Mondays.

Love Boat, founded in2004, was the first LGBTQ lifestyle shop in Asia, created by a group of passionate advocates for equality and diversity.

The group aim to provide a loving home where people can be themselves and connect with each other. Now Love Boat has grown from a small lifestyle shop to a global community platform with queer arts & culture, Queer Tarot and I Ching reading, holistic healing & aromatherapy, onsite café and wellness workshops.

The centre is located in Zhongzheng District of Taipei. Closed on Mondays.
